What will you be doing?
You will be introduced to various drawing materials and techniques on and with paper.
You will experiment with the drawing materials. Be a little daring, play, and discover.
It doesn’t have to be beautiful, everything can fail, and yet something will emerge. Surprise yourself!
What are you going to make?
You won’t just be copying; subjects and forms come from all kinds of things, such as music, drawing materials, and the rhythms of nature.
The goal is not realistic copying, but using your imagination, experimenting, and exploring the possibilities of the material.
So… even if you think, “I’m not good at drawing,” this is something for you.

How to improve your work: use of composition, rhythm, light/dark.
workshops
Botanical drawing is the depiction of a plant or parts of a plant, with attention to the specific characteristics that define the plant. We start with a walk around the Borg to find subjects. Once you have found a flower or plant, you can get to work. Look closely, sketch, and then develop your drawing further. You will work with pencil, fineliner, colored pencil, and/or watercolor paint.
Suitable for beginners and advanced students. Materials are provided. (If you have your own colored pencils or a set of watercolors, you are welcome to bring them along.)

Drawing in the forest
We will wander a little way into the forest. Along the way, you will be given short assignments and make drawings of your experiences. Drawing encourages you to pay more attention to your surroundings. Drawing with all your senses is an intense and relaxing experience. Duration: 2 hours.

Art Journaling Creatively fill a few pages in a journal; give shape to your thoughts, draw, make collages, experiment. I provide ideas and materials, then you can continue on your own. Duration: 2 hours.
€30 incl. sketchbook, minimum 7 participants
ACTION! Drawing and painting large and freely, who dares? Experiment, draw to music, just start and see what happens…Duration: 2 hours.

Landscape, working outdoors. Painting and drawing outdoors, color, light, composition. Sketching and painting.
